Take a glass of warm water with freshly squeezed lemon first thing in the morning .
Here are some remedies for acne . When you get them under control , then you can try other things to get a glowing complexion :
(1)Add 1 part Garlic Juice with 3 parts water. It is an excellent cleansing agent.This can make persistent pimples disappear without a scar with repeated applications.(wash it after 5 to 10 mins).Be careful not to apply near eye area.
(2) Use a paste of besan and curd to wash your face.
(3)Apply a paste of fresh methi (fenugreek) leaves over the face every night for 10-15 minutes and wash with warm water. This will prevent further pimples/ acne.
(1) make a paste of cucumber juice and lemon juice in equal quantity and add a pinch of turmeric powder. Apply on affected area and wash after 10 minutes.
(2)To two teaspoons of tomato juice add four tablespoons of buttermilk. Apply. Remove after half an hour. It is excellent for removing tan.
DARK CIRCLES :
(1)Use a mixture of raw potato juice and cucumber juice in equal quantity, dip cotton pads in it and place them over your eyes for 20 mins everyday. It will definitely help.
(2) Take a spoon of fresh cream of raw / unboiled milk beat it for a while and mix some drops of lemon in it and apply it to your dark circles .Leave it for 2-3 mins. After that gently massage it with your ring fingers till it dries and then rub it off & rinse off with luke warm water. Use it daily.
(3) Gently dab the area around your eyes with a pad of absorbent cotton, soaked in tea (without milk and sugar)
(4) Massage a mix of almond oil with few drops of Viatamin E oil under eye at bedtime.
(4) Drink one glass of carrot juice daily
shaving leads to worst ingrown hair and hair removing creams are no better either. Stick to waxing and put a paste of Alum ( called as Phitkari in Hindi ) and rose water after every waxing. It helps in inhibiting futher hair growth. I hope you will see positive results after few waxing cycles.
Also exfoliate your skin with a scrub everyday. Crush a few disprin/asprin tablets and mix with your scrub. I hope it will take care of your problem to a great extent !!
SANDALWOOD POWDER USES FOR OVERALL SKIN IMPROVEMENT :
(1)mix aloevera gel with multani mitti,rose water,2 drops of almond oil,sandalwood powder and just apply it till it dries and wash off.
(2)Make a paste of multani mitti, sandalwood powder & rose water & apply it once in a week.
(3) Apply sandalwood paste on face which acts as antiseptic & keeps the skin cool.
(4)Mixture of turmeric powder and sandalwood in water can be applied daily on face for improved complexion
USES OF OLIVE OIL :
Oilve oil is the main ingredient in many beauty products and its equally good for the skin and hair. Before doing any of these , please make sure that your skin is not too oily and doesnt have any active acne / pimples etc.
USES ON SKIN :
(1)A mixture of 1/2 cup olive oil, 1/4 cup vinegar, & 1/4 cup water used as a night cream will make your skin glow. The olive oil softens and moisturizes and the vinegar lightens discolorations, kills bacteria and loosens dead skin cells. Splash water on your face before applying.
2. Olive oil can be used as cleansing cream if your skin is dry.
3. For a facial, wet face thoroughly, then massage olive oil into your skin. Use about a half teaspoon of sugar and scrub your face with that, then wipe off gently with a warm, wet cloth until the sugar is all gone.
4. Use olive oil on your feet with clean cotton socks. Helps to soften up you feet and it absorbs very nicely.
USES ON HAIR:
It conditions the hair and also gets rid of the frizz. Apply warm oilve oil in your hair , massage and let it be there for 1 hour before shampoo.
You can use it in various hair packs too.
USES OF ALMOND OIL:
(1)Its little lighter than olive oil and has excellent anti -wrinkle properties. You can use it on your face and under the eyes as you would use a night cream.
(2)Almond oil mixed with sugar makes and excellent body and face srub.
(3)Apply it on your cuticles to soften them.
(4) You can apply almond oil on chapped lips to heal them
1) orange tonic :
Blanch and grind a couple of almonds to a paste and mix in two tablespoons of milk and one tablespoon each of carrot and orange juice. Apply thickly on face and neck and leave on for half an hour. It removes scars and marks from the face and makes it soft and smooth.
(2)take 3-4 table spoons of milk add some rose water( 1 tablespoon) and some lemon juice (freshly squeezed is preferred) and finally add 2-3 drops of Olive Oil .As the milk will curdle and liquid will separate . Apply this liquid mix before sleeeping with the help of cotton. Leave this overnight and wash off in the morning.
(3)A paste of Rakta Chandan (red sandalwood) with rose water, applied once or twice a day for about a fortnight helps a lot in removing scars.
(1)Apply watermelon juice on the face and leave for 20 minutes. Wash off with hot water and then rinse with cold water.
(2)Blanch and grind a couple of almonds to a paste and mix in two tablespoons of milk and one tablespoon each of carrot and orange juice. Apply thickly on face and neck and leave on for half an hour.
(3)Try using Apple Cider Vinegar (undiluted ) in a cotton pad on the spots. You can do it 2-3 times a day and the spots should fade in no time.
Also , If your skin is not very sensitive , you can always apply crushed garlic on the pimples. They will be cured without leaving any spots.
There is no shortcut to stay slim ...its a question of lifestyle change. Small - small changes here and there work a long way .Here are some tips , i hope you will find them useful:
* Stick to whole wheat instead of white breads / pastas etc.
* Always try to incorporate more veggies in your meals.
* have minimum 2 fruits a day . Mango. pineapple , grapes and bananas should not be taken frequently while trying to lose weight.
* Incorporate sprouts in your diet atleast in one meal .
* If you are not a veggie, stick to lean meats like skinless chicken , fish , turkey etc. Go for lean cuts of read meat.
* Have only egg whites and discard yellow.
* Salads help in keeping you full ..so try to eat them twice a day.
* Have warm water with lemon juice first thing in the morning followed by a cup of green tea after half an hour.
* Never skip breakfast. Try to incorporate everything from the diff food groups..for instance : skim milk with oatmeal and some fresh fruits like strawberries , blueberries or half an apple.
* Switch to canola and olive oils and use butter very sparingly.
* Have curds everyday ......its even more imp if you are a vegetarian ..its helpful in supplying the protein which is the main building block of the body.
* Atleast have 8 glasses to water a day.
Finally , exercise atleast 30 minutes a day helps in staying slim and healthy and also gives a glow to skin when done along with healthy and balanced diet.
I know the pointers i have listed above, almost everyone know these things ...but the point is to incorporate them in your life slowly. But it comes with perks such as healthy and glowing skin and lovely hair ...so i guess they are really worth a try !!
Use this pack once a week :
Make a paste of masoor dal+curd+ a few drops of juice of neem leaves and apply as a mask. When dry, remove with finger tips and wash off with water.
It is very effective in dealing with pimples and gives the skin a glow
Massage mayonnaise into your hair thoroughly, starting from the roots to the hair ends. Then pile your hair on top of your head and cover them fully with plastic food wrap. Wrap the pre-heated towel around it and keep it on for 10 minutes. This will help in deep-conditioning your hair. Now, replace the towel with another pre-heated towel and leave it on for 10 minutes too. Now remove all the wraps and shampoo your hair. This cholesterol treatment once a month for your hair will keep it soft and shiny
(1)Apply a paste of fresh fenugreek (methi) leaves over the face every night and wash with warm water in the morning for preventing pimples, blackheads, whiteheads, dryness, and wrinkles.
(2)Mix Cornstarch With Vinegar, make a paste and apply on the area for 15-30 minutes; wash off with washcloth and warm water.
(3)Take a tablespoon of raw (not boiled) milk and mix a pinch of salt and two teaspoonful of lime juice in it. Use it as a cleansing lotion. It helps to clean the deep pores of skin and make your skin free from blackheads and whiteheads
To reduce pimple / acne marks :-
(1) orange tonic :

Here are some simple home remedies for skin whitening that you can do to lighten the skin tone and get a lighter complexion. However, they must be done regularly and best results are obtained if they are inculcated as a part of daily routine.
Mix 1 tsp of milk powder, 1 tsp of honey, 1 tsp of lemon juice, and ½ tsp of almond oil. Apply on face and wash off after 10-15 minutes. This pack helps bring shine to the skin and also removes tan.
Mix oatmeal with curd and tomato juice and apply on the face. Keep it on for 20 minutes and then wash it off with cold water. It helps remove the tan and lightens the skin.
Place sliced raw potato on the face. It helps reduce blemishes and other marks.
Applying turmeric powder along with lime juice removes the tan. Lime juice is a natural bleach.
Dried orange peels mixed with curd also help reduce blemishes and scars. Wash off this mixture with cold water after 15 minutes.
Soak 4 almonds overnight. Grind into a fine paste using milk. Apply on face and neck and leave it overnight. Wash with cold water in the morning. Do this daily for 15 days, followed by twice a week.
A tbsp of gram flour mixed with 2 tsp of raw milk and 2-3 drops of lime juice works well for lightening dark skin. Apply this mixture and leave it for 15 minutes before washing off. Repeat for 4 weeks and follow up with once a week.
Apply a paste of fresh ground mint leaves and leave it for about 20 minutes. Wash with cold water, continue for 15 days.
Apply a mixture of grated tomato with 2-3 drops of lime juice on the face. Leave it for 20 minutes before washing off. Do this twice a day for 15-20 days for best results.

(1) Mix honey and cinnamon powder . Apply and keep for 20 minutes ..wash off and rinse with cold water.
(2) take a teaspoon of baking soda and mix with rose water to make a paste. Apply and wash off with rinsing with cold water.
Another effective way to avoid blackheads is to scrub skin every second day. You can either use any of the good scrubs available in the market or you can make one at home. Following is the recipe :
Mix 1 teaspoon of honey with 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and 2 teaspoon of sugar. Apply, scrub and enjoy the softer skin !
Please take care that its always important to keep the pores closed after you clean or scrub your skin . You can use any toner for this purpose depending upon the type of your skin or else you can use rose water which is an excellent natural toner. Dont forget to put on the moisturiser after toning.
I hope you will see good results by doing the above regularly.
