Organizing Your Beauty Box

Hello Lovelies …

Almost all of us do have beauty boxes which are our lovely possessions. Mine is a box with a good height and can carry a lot of my makeup items. This kind of a box is a blessing specially when u r travelling. It can carry small makeup kits, my brushes, even a small hair dryer. It is closed with a zipper so carrying it is even easier and safe when I am carrying it around.

 

There was, however, one big problem; I used to dump all my stuff into this box and while doing my makeup I had to dig into the box and look for the items I needed that time.

I thought there was an immense need to properly organize the items in the box – and this is what I did.

I used some old tissue rolls and placed them in the box. then I placed my pencils, brushes and foundation bottle etc into them; now they are neatly arranged and easily found. Also, I cut some of the tissue rolls in half and separated one section of my beauty box with the shorter toilet rolls and placed my smaller makeup items like lipsticks and kajal sticks etc there.

I am quite satisfied after this arrangement and finding things has been easy peasy after doing this. If you have some great organizing ideas, please share : )

How I Organize My Sandals!

I am a huge lover of sandals and shoes, and its hard for me to stop myself from buying more and more sandals everytime I go to the market. Buying sandals is more of a fun experience for me but the issue becomes when I come home and the closet which I used to store my shoes is full and I don’t have any place to keep the new shoes :D hehe… yes that happened with me many times.

another issue which I come across normally when I put my sandals in a closet or a shoe rack is that very soon the area is filled up with shoes and you start putting the shoes above each other, normally this results in only the shoes which are visible to you to be used and the others stay buried under the rest.

Normally I don’t put my sandals in open because of a lot of dust in the environment and no one wants to see the sandals getting older even without using them.

However, I have found my solution to this problem; and I found it on a facebook page. It is an amazing shoe storage box which amazingly fixes all the above mentioned issues. it is a zipped shoe storage box with special compartments for the shoes, it is covered with transparent plastic so you can see the shoes through the cover. it saves your shoes from dust and the compartments are big enough that more than one flat sandals can be stored in a single compartment. it comes in two different sizes, one for 6 pairs and one for 12 pairs of shoes. I wanted to try this product out so I ordered the small one first to see how it works for me.

I loved this product so much that I ordered five more pieces in the large size. I took all my sandals out of the closet and arranged them in these boxes. some of my flats were accommodated in one compartment, thus saving the space. Ever since then I feel this is a blessing that I bought these for myself. The shoes are readily visible, and dust free. I am really happy that I bought it and I surely recommend it to others.

Amazing Organizer–Purse Insert

Okay girls, I know how irritating it is to dig in for stuff you are looking for in your hand bag and things of all sort keep coming out instead of the ONE thing you are actually looking for … yes that’s funny but it always happens to  me and I am sure it would have happened to you girls as well. now if your hand bag has multiple compartments and mini pockets all your stuff can be organized BUT not all the hand bags have this kind of arrangement.
I recently came across a page on facebook called Shakir’s Collections and was amused by the unique and amazing product ideas they have. One thing that captured my attention was this purse insert. I always had a problem of organizing my hand bag and was using different pouches etc for organizing my stuff in the hand bag. One of my previous posts explains that here. Anyhow, this thing was worth trying as I am an organizing freak and I am always looking for ways to set maximum possible stuff in minimum possible space (LOL). this purse insert was not very expensive and I wanted to try this out.

These are the things which are actually inside this purse insert at the moment:

I ordered this purse insert from Shakir’s collections and it took a few days to reach me. NOW, to my surprise, this MINI purse insert just took care of ALL my belongings in the hand bag and my bag was surprisingly EMPTY. I suddenly realized that my hand bag was quite empty if the things are arranged properly.
As I mentioned in my previous post, I have separate pouches already for the makeup stuff and for my data cables etc. so now I have this purse insert, makeup pouch, accessory pouch and my wallet and I am all set. And with this super setting, changing a hand bag is a BREEZE cos it takes hardly 5 minutes. I used to delay changing hand bags only cos there was too much effort involved in looking for mini pockets and stuffing the bag and adjusting each item somewhere and now I just have to pick up a few main items and drop them in my other bag and I am DONE.

I have more room in my hang bag and I even don’t have to use any of the bag’s own mini pockets. and believe me my purse insert STILL has a lot of room for more stuff which makes me happier as I can stuff in more and more into this and still have room in my bag.

I am so in love with this product and thank Shakir’s Collections for this amazing product and this is why I wanted to write this post.
