#Dubai #Diaries - Step 2 - Accomodation & Packing

Okay girls, this one is the second post from my #DubaiDiaries post. You can find the first post on my blog here. Lets move on the step 2 of your travel in Dubai which is accommodation and packing.

Accommodation:

Coming directly to the topic, once you are done with your tickets and visa, you need to decide where will you be staying. If you have family or friends in Dubai already and you can stay there, well and good. You wont need to spend any money in finding out an accommodation. Even so, you might be an independent type and would not want to bother anyone else with your presence, you can still go and find a place to live for yourself. The bestest possible way I would suggest is to use online booking websites like Agoda.com and Booking.com. These are both very reliable and have amazing features. You can sort the available places according to your budget, your location, hotel rating, even you can dig down for basic facilities like swimming pool etc.

If you are travelling with kids, I would suggest you to go with an apartment instead of a room because an apartment would be so much comfortable if you have to warm up some food in the middle of the night and so on. I personally think for an apartment you get better value of money and more independence as you are not dependent on room service for everything. Many of the apartments in dubai are serviced apartments which means that the cleaning, dishwashing will be their responsibility. They are also provided with small kitchenette along with basic necessities like Electric Kettle, Microwave, Induction cooking stove, basic crockery and utensils as well as washing machine. However, if you want to use the washing machine etc you will need to buy your own detergent etc as normally this is not provided by the hotel. They only provide you with the machine. You need to check in detail while booking that what exactly will be available in the apartment that you are taking. Not all of them will have all the facilities that I mentioned.

#Dubai #Diaries - Step 1 - Ticket & Visa

Helloooo my lovelies, hope everyone is doing well. I am back to my blog after a very very long time, and quite excited to be here. Since many of my followers already know that I have been away to Dubai for a month and so many of you asked me about the details regarding what to pack, expenses, best places to shop, best places to visit there. So I thought it would be best to put all of this in a blog post which can help many people if they are planning a visit to Dubai. As it was my second trip to Dubai so I consider myself fluent with their process now that's why I consider myself eligible to guide people who are planning to visit Dubai for the first time :)

#Review - #Keune #HairBeauty #SplitEnds #Serum

Hey Lovelies, using a serum is one important task to add to your routine these days due to the always changing weather and pollution in the environment. My hair tends to get really frizzy during humid days which just makes me hate them!!! I have noticed that if I use a serum on my hair when its a bit damp after the shower, the frizziness tends to be reduced therefore i am trying to make using serum a part of my everyday shower routine (though at times I am lazy like we all are *lol*)

Travel Size Your Stuff–Hair Care

Hey ladies, how often do u travel? I have many short and long trips over the year so I am always looking for ideas to mini-size all my stuff so its more and more convenient for me to carry around.

A very simple idea to travel size your conditioner, sun block etc. is to use small bottles to fill these things in and use for the travel purpose. You can either buy special purpose travel size bottles for this purpose or do what I do : ) use empty hand sanitizer bottles : ) Isn’t this cool girls.

I use hand sanitizer frequently and keep a bottle in my handbag always, once the sanitizer finishes, I clean the bottle, dry it up and then put my conditioner in it to be used for travelling. the bottle is small enough to be carried around in my makeup box and I label it using masking tape and a marker. How simple!!!

You may use anything else in the bottle as well; I use this for conditioner and my regular use sunblock.

For shampoos, I use sachets for travelling which are lighter to carry and also control the amount of shampoo you r using on the trip.

I have loads of more tips which u will see in the upcoming posts for sure…

Do you have any other travel sizing tips? Do share in comments below…

Guest Post - Things to Do When Blowing Through the Windy City

Hey my ladies … Kendra Thornton is a fellow blogger who enjoys sharing her travelling stories with the people all over the world. She is writing a guest post for our blog to share her travelling story with us and to suggest good places to the people who are planning soon to visit Chicago. You can follow her on twitter & on her blog.

Following is a bit of information about her:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am a long time travel expert who has been packing my bags and traveling the world since I was 3 months old! I love Nice n Easy Beauty Tips and really enjoy the wonderful advice and knowledge you offer your sites visitors. I was wondering if you allow outside contributors, as I think my expertise on travel trends could be beneficial to your readers!

My passion for travel is only eclipsed by my passion for my three beautiful children. I’ve been lucky to combine the two, and am often featured as an expert in family, luxury and adventure travel for ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX News, and CW networks. Personally, I've been to 28 countries on 6 continents, and have been quoted in the news about seasonal travel trends and destinations all over the United States.

Now stepping out of the corporate spotlight to take on my role of being the number one mom and wife to a family of three, I've found my utmost desire in life is right here in my own home. It is apparent that vacations refresh us…but why does it only have to be a few days out of the year? It has been my goal to recreate the lavish hotel spa experience right in the comfort of your own home to feel beautiful and rejuvenated everyday.

Her wonderful & informative post follows as below:

Nearly everyone in the United States has some understanding of Chicago, whether they’ve been here or not. The diversity of my hometown and its rich history make it a great place to explore. As a traveler myself, I love that many of the best sights in the country are located here in my own backyard. If you plan on traveling to Chicago, which I strongly recommend, take these tips for what to do and see:

1. Have a Field Day at the Field Museum

The Sue Rex isn’t the only reason to visit the Field Museum in Chicago, but it certainly gives you a good excuse to go. My family doesn’t need an excuse. This is our favorite place to spend time together. Browse exhibits of tiny fossils, huge prehistoric animal remains and more. It’s conveniently located on Lake Shore Drive, near several other attractions.

2. Putter Around Navy Pier Park

It may seem like a tourist trap on the surface, but there’s a reason that you’ll find locals at Navy Pier. You can take a ride on the 150-foot Ferris wheel. The view of the city from there is incredible. You can enjoy plenty of other activities here as well. The shopping’s great as are the beautiful gardens here.

3. Book a Great Hotel

Anytime you take a trip, your accommodations will have a big impact on your experience. When visiting Chicago, you’ll want a centrally located hotel with easy access to the attractions you want to see. Some local hotels have great stories, including some involving colorful characters such as Al Capone from Chicago’s past.

4. Dine at a Chicago Diner

I love diner food. Chicago has some great diners from which to choose. My personal favorite is Lou Mitchell’s. The food is great and priced affordably. As an added bonus, they pass out Milk Duds to kids and the ladies that come here to eat. It turns out that a friend of Uncle Lou’s first created Milk Duds in Chicago.

Our great country has some pretty amazing places to visit. Although I’ve traveled to many of them, I think my hometown of Chicago is one of the best places to experience. The shopping, sights and food available here combine to make the Windy City memorable for travelers of all ages.
